NanoBonobo is an Amazon marketplace optimisation and governance platform designed to help brands, aggregators, and agencies monitor and manage their Amazon listings.

This Privacy Notice explains how NanoBonobo collects, processes, and protects Amazon data accessed through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API).


1. Information We Access via Amazon SP-API

When a user authorises NanoBonobo, we may access the following categories of data:

  • Product listing data (titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, attributes)
  • Inventory information
  • Pricing information
  • Reports generated by Amazon
  • Order and performance reports (if authorised)

NanoBonobo does not access buyer personal data unless explicitly authorised and required for specific reporting features.


2. Purpose of Data Processing

We process Amazon data solely to:

  • Audit listing content against canonical records
  • Identify content drift or inconsistencies
  • Generate optimisation recommendations
  • Automate approved content updates
  • Provide reporting and analytics to authorised users

We do not use Amazon data for advertising, resale, or unrelated commercial purposes.


3. Data Storage and Retention

Amazon data is stored securely in an encrypted cloud infrastructure.

Data is retained only:

  • For the duration of the customer’s subscription, or
  • As required for audit history and compliance

Users may request deletion of their data at any time.


4. Data Sharing

NanoBonobo does not sell or share Amazon data with third parties.

Data may be processed by trusted sub-processors (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers) solely to provide the NanoBonobo service.

All sub-processors are contractually bound to confidentiality and security obligations.


5. Security Controls

NanoBonobo implements industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encryption at rest
  • Role-based access control
  • Secure storage of API credentials
  • No hard-coding of secret keys
  • Restricted internal access to Amazon data

6. User Control and Revocation

Users may revoke NanoBonobo’s access at any time via:

  • Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central App permissions
  • Written request to NanoBonobo

Upon revocation, API access is immediately disabled.
